Review: Revlon Eyeshadow Quad in Coffee Bean

Hey everyone, today I will be reviewing this eye shadow quad. This was in one of my previous haul post and I’m here to share my thoughts on this product with you. Keep reading to know more.

Pros: This quad helps with an instant neutral eye with directions on the back. Neutral shades are all matte.

Cons: Poorly pigmented, not so vibrant, and hard to make the color come out. Creases fast even with UDPP.

Overall review: I was very excited about this in the beginning when I first bought it but then when I used it a couple of times, the colors didn’t show up that much. The only color that is much pigmented is the darkest color. It is good for creating accents in your crease. That’s the only very useful color. When I use the other colors as the directions describe it, it doesn’t work though. My lids are the darkest part of my face and even with a primer, the colors don’t come out. Overall, I like the quad, but it’s very poorly pigmented.

Review: Chapstick Fresh Effects Lip Balm in Invigorating Green Tea Mint

Hi girls, so now everyone knows that it is the winter time and my lips become dry. I just hate it, but only one lip balm works for me. Yes, these are the new Chap Stick Fresh Effects Lip balms. I purchased six of them during Walgreens instant rebate sale. It was like 2 months ago and after finishing up two tubes, I can honestly give you a review. Keep reading to know more.

Pros: It makes your breath fresh and makes it smell like mint. Moisturizes and stays on all day. Doesn’t just sit on your lips; it penetrates deep inside the lips and kind of gives a cooling effect. No stinging!

Cons: No cons! It’s amazing!

Overall review: I love this lip balm. It’s by far the best on I’ve ever used. I’m the type of person who reapplies lip balm every couple of minutes, but with this balm I don’t have to. It also provides a good and smoothing base for your lipstick or lip-gloss. I really love this lip balm and they are available at all drugstores including drugstore.com.

Review: Essie Winter '09 Collection Review

Hi girls, today I have a review for you. The new Essie Winter ’09 Collection came out and I love it. I got it from a website, but I don’t remember which site it was. I’ve had them for a month now. I was going to post swatches but then I already have some polish on so I didn’t, but on my next polish review, I will. The three colors in this collection are Mint Candy Apple (the turquoise green), Lollipop (the bright red), and Rock Candy (the sheer light pink color). This is my first time ever buying Essie and I love them. Keep reading to see why I love Essie so much.

Pros: The colors are very winter appropriate. The green and sheer light pink color is perfect for those cold snowy days. The bright red is perfect for any day and it’s not too bright. These polishes aren’t sheer at all. You can get away with two coats. I just love all of them. I think Rock Candy is supposed to be sheer for the winter months.

Cons: The only polish I had a problem with was Rock Candy because it’s very sheer. I used a base coat with it later on and it comes out better, but you can’t get the color in the bottle.

Overall review: I love them. They are the best. The good thing is that they don’t have all that bad stuff in the polish that you wouldn’t want. The colors are fairly pigmented and not very sheer except for one, but it seems like it’s supposed to be like that. I have to say that Essie polishes are quite brilliant. You girls can expect me to be reporting on all Essie collections from now on.

How to: French Manicure

Hi girls, so I was experimenting yesterday and I came up with this French Manicure. The hand above is my friend’s but I also have it on my nails. She is a better nail model than me. It's very easy to achieve!

Products Used:
-OPI Natural Base Coat
-Essie Rock Candy Nail Polish
-NK Cosmetics Nail Polish with thin brush
-China Glaze Patent Leather Top Coat

Directions:
1. First I put the OPI Natural Base Coat on all of my nails. It provides a nice base and my nail polish doesn’t chip off easily. Sometimes when I get bored I try chipping my polish off, but I can’t because this base coat literally grips onto the color.
2. Next I put on two layers of Essie’s Rock Candy from the new winter collection. (Review coming soon). It’s like a pinky polish that is best for manicures.
3. Then I started with the tips. I grew my nails and then the white part shows a lot. I don’t file them or anything, but you can if you want to. I start by lining them with the thin brush and then just fill in the rest. You can also use those strips that come in curvy, zigzags, and straight as a guide line.
4. Finally, after all of that has dried, I put on the China Glaze Patent Leather Topcoat. It makes my nails very shiny. They really look like they are made of glass. Well anyone can do it, with some practice and a steady hand will do the trick.
Enjoy playing around with your nails now!

Review: E.L.F Studio Blush in Cadid Coral

Hello my lovely readers, today I have a review for you that will blow your minds out. It’s a review on the E.L.F Studio Blush. Well, everyone thinks that E.L.F tried copying Nars on their packaging. Well, I don’t consider it a copy since they are exactly duplicates. I have a Nars blush in the ever so famous orgasm and I really can’t find anything in the two blushes that aren’t alike. I purchased Candid Coral which I am reviewing today. It’s such a pretty coral color; the picture above doesn’t do any justice whatsoever. You have to see it in person. Mine was $1.50 since I purchased it with a coupon code for 50% off. I hope you enjoy. Keep reading to know more.

Pros: Long lasting, smooth, buildable color, not too shimmery. It’s very pigmented and very pinky coral, just the way I like it!

Cons: When you put it on alone, it MAY emphasize you pores based on your skin type and your age. It emphasized one of my older client’s pores so I had to use a line and pore filler.

Overall Review: I really like the smoothness of it. It’s very comparable to a Nars shadow. Its goes on your cheeks very smoothly and it’s much pigmented, but not too emphasized. For a lady that I used it on, she was about 56 years old and she didn’t want any foundation so I used powder and then put on this blush and her pores looked HUGE. It was like attack of the giant pores. Then I had to use a line and pore filler to make them look smaller. Otherwise, this blush is amazing. Next time you’re looking to buy Nars, consider the E.L.F studio line first!

Review: E.L.F Corrective Concealer Palette

Hi girls, I’m on a roll today with all the posts I’ve put up. Well, two months ago I purchased this corrective concealer palette from E.L.F.com and I wanted to share my opinion with you on it. Sorry for the weird picture above, I still have to figure out how to make the lighting better. This palette was $3 but I had a coupon code then so it only cost me $1.50. There is a green shade to cancel redness, 2 nude shades to conceal dark circles, and a lilac shade to make a yellow complexion look less dull. Keep reading to know more.
Pros: The 2 nude colors definitely highlight under your eye and brighten. The lilac shade gives some of my clients a nice dewy finish and the green concealer makes a pimple look less red. It works on many of my friends.

Cons: Crappy brush, unsanitary way of using it. You need a big concealer brush to use it properly. The two nude colors don’t exactly cancel super dark circles.

Overall Review: This palette is okay. Its best for using under your makeup. The nude shades are best to use under your eyes before you put on your normal concealer as a base and to moisturize you’re under eye area. It works differently for other people because I’ve seen it working better on fairer skin. Overall I do like it, but the consistency is very thin.

Review: Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Pink Please

Hi girls, so about a week ago, I went to Rite Aid and they had the instant rebate coupons on the Maybelline Color Sensational lip products which included the lip glosses, lip liners, and the lipstick which I am reviewing today. The shade is called Pink Please and it’s a true pink. I would consider this the perfect pink because it’s not peachy nor is it bluish based. It’s just the perfect shade. The pictures above don’t do justice, you just have to go and see it in store, but again with the price. It ranges anywhere from $6.99 to $7.50. I got mine for $3.00 because the deal made the lipstick $5.99 and then with the coupon you got $2.99 off so its $3.00. I would compare it to a cream sheen formula from MAC in every way. Keep reading to know more.

Pros: It’s very creamy and pigmented. The color you get in the tube is the color that will appear on your lips. It doesn’t wear off easily, I have to use an oil based makeup remover or else it stays on. It smoothes out your lips so the lines on your lips don’t appear and you have perfect looking lips. The packaging is super pretty. I love it!

Cons: It tastes weird.

Overall review: I really love this lipstick. I bought an extra one for using on my clients because I love it so much. It’s exactly like a M.A.C cream sheen lipstick in pigmentation and every other possible way you can think of for a fraction of the price. These seem like they are on clearance or something that’s why they are so inexpensive. Go to Rite Aid and get in on this awesome deal!

Lux Naturals Haul

Hi girls, so today I’m going to share with you my haul from Lux Naturals. The owner was nice enough to send me a couple of products to review. I still haven’t used them yet, just a couple of products. I just want to show you everything and my overall thoughts and then I will review them individually within the next 2 weeks. She told me to pick 3 soaps, a candle, Shea body butter, and a body butter bar. The jar pictured above is the candle in the Tahitian Vanilla Scent. This smells amazing. I actually lit it a couple of times and the aroma spreads everywhere. She sent me the 4soaps because she sent me their best seller. They are pictured above. I chose the Watermelon Handcrafted soap, the Red Apple Handcrafted soap, the Sweet Pea Handcrafted soap, and their bestseller which is the Moonlight Pomegranate Handcrafted soap. She also sent me the Sugar Cookie Shea Body Butter which smells amazing. I also chose the Mandarin Mango Body Butter Bar. All of the products smell very organic and just amazing. They actually smell like the real thing unlike other gimmick companies who put fake fragrances in their soaps and don’t put as much love and care into their products. This company is way better than Lush because Lush probably puts fake oils and that negative stuff. This company’s’ products are all natural and awesome. I’ve tried the body butter bar and the normal butter and the butter actually has a butter consistency. It turns into oil as it melts in your hand and it really moisturizes. Where I live, it’s snowing today and my skin is super dry so I put it on and my skin was instantly moisturized. More details and a full on review coming soon, thank you guys for reading!

Mini Rite Aid Haul

So today I was at Rite Aid because there was a sale on Revlon products and I took advantage and bought a neutral quad. I got it in number 02, Coffee Bean. I also got the lip-gloss in Pink Afterglow. I love these two products to death. I will NOT post swatches, but I’ll have pictures of everything above. My mother also got me a Hurricane Nail Art Paint with the thin brushes to do manicures in white. It was $1.99and the both Revlon products were $6.99. That’s a pretty good deal for a neutral quad and that means that one product was about $3.50 each. Now that is a real good deal. Also, I don’t think I’ll be doing weekly good deals. I’m very sorry about that. Well, I’ll most likely be posting about 4-5 posts a week and like 3 each on weekends. Well, I hope you enjoy and reviews coming up soon!

Review: Kirkland by Borghese Signature 15-pc limited edition brush set

Well the newest Costco catalogue had come out and I was around the 10th page. As soon as I flipped the page, this brush set caught my eye. I saw that they were duo-fibered and that really got me all excited. That very day, my parents were making their monthly trip to Costco and I secretly told my mom to get it for me. My dad totally thinks its ridiculous paying $14 for an eye shadow (M.A.C.) so only she knew about it. When they came back, I was super excited. I washed all of them and I had the urge to wash off all of my makeup and re-do it. I did, and it was so fun. Well now after using it for so long, well about a month I can finally develop a review on them and I must say that they are awesome. For all of you who are asking me to do a Sigma Brush review, I have asked them. I just need them to accept. They are probably very Sigma and MAC comparable. Well now let me save something for the review itself so keep reading to know more. They are no longer on the website unfortunately, but they might be in-store, you’ll have to call and ask them. Well, all I know is that they are really a bang for your buck because they are only $26.99 for 15 pieces. It comes with a powder brush, bronzer brush, angled foundation brush, eye shadier brush, eye blending brush, sponge tip smudger brush, flat eyeliner brush, and eye liner brush with spoolie. It also comes with a travel case, and eyelash curler, and travel brush set with a mini brush to conceal, flat eyeliner brush, powder brush, and mini blender brush.

Pros: They are anti microbial, they don’t shed, and you don’t have to wash them often and not be scared of getting pimples from using the same brush over and over again. They are very soft and eco-friendly because they are synthetic. They are professional quality and I also have another kit that I use on clients.

Cons: Kind of smelled weird when I first opened the box, but after washing them they didn’t smell bad at all.

Overall review: These are very affordable and MAC quality as well as Sigma quality. They are professional and could be used as a starter kit for younger girls who like wearing makeup, but can’t afford MAC or even Sigma brushes. They are very soft and don’t scratch gentle/sensitive/dry faces.

Review: Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows in Skinlights #730

So, I've tried many cream shadows previously and there are many that suit my clients’ eyelid types, but this one is universal. It’s the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows and they come in palettes of 4 colors and I have the one in Skin lights which are skin colors. They are all shimmery and can be found at all drugstores that sell Revlon products. It ranges anywhere from $5-$7. I just love them so much that there are not really a lot of cons. Keep reading to know why.

Pros: Stays on pretty long, doesn’t crease, fairly pigmented, and very shimmery. Good to add a pop of shimmer and can also be used to highlight your cheek bones. It’s not over priced at all which is good. They also last a while; about 5 months to estimate.

Cons: You don’t get a lot of product in each pan of color. Unsanitary way of usage.

Overall review: these are very shimmery which some people might not like, but they are still nice for everyday. The pans don’t have a little brush or anything so if you dip your finger in it every day, it’s kind of unsanitary. When I use it on other people I always kind of scoop it out because if I keep on dipping the brush in it, it’s very unsanitary.

Review: Good for you Girls Skincare Line

Hey everyone, this is a review for a skincare line. Kim Grustas, the owner of Good for you Girls skincare sent me their mini complete skincare kit. This skincare line is mainly targeted towards tweens. I consisted of their Gel Cleanser which is soap-free. It washes away impurities and with all the good products in it, it balances a younger girls’ skin. Our soap-free, gel cleanser gently washes away daily dirt and grime without stripping or irritating skin. Natural surfactants and organic extracts create a beautiful lather that effectively cleans skin of impurities while organic chamomile, antioxidant rich green tea and vitamin E sooth and protect. This is what is says on the website and it actually works for me. Then in the kit comes the refreshing toner. This is the description on the website: For those with blemish issues our Blemish Wash helps deep clean pores and fight bacteria naturally. Delicate Jojoba beads loosen excess oils and impurities while an effective blend of tropical fruit enzymes and meadowsweet extract fight bacteria. Organic calendula and chamomile extracts help soothe skin and calm redness. I also got the Oil-Free Moisturizer. This is the description on the website: Maintain skin's healthy moisture balance without clogging pores. Our lightweight facial moisturizer absorbs instantly to help protect against moisture loss. Organic extracts and aloe vera help replenish nutrients while green tea and organic chamomile extract helps to protect from free radical damage and inflammation. Everything that the website says, it does. I can actually give you honest opinions: When I took the toner and put it on a cotton round and I rubbed it all over my face, a lot of dark crap came out. It was weird, but then I looked at my face and guess what my face actually looked much purified. Now, the moisturizer also worked nicely too because it isn’t oily like other moisturizers and it absorbs quickly. The cleanser is also amazing. Now, I want to leave something for the actual review so let’s get started. Also, there is a surprise at the end so keep reading to know more.

List of ALL the Good Ingredients in the Skincare from the website:
• Organic arnica extract - Chosen for its anti-inflammatory properties.
• Organic lavender extract - Chosen for its antibacterial properties; it tones and revitalizes skin, and is well-known for its soothing, calming aromatherapy effect.
• Organic chamomile extract - Chosen for its anti-inflammatory properties; it is very calming to the skin.
• Organic calendula extract - Chosen for its antimicrobial skin healing properties; it is also used as a humectant.
• White/Green tea extracts - Chosen for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties; they reduce free radical damage, and are healing to the skin.
• Black tea - Chosen for its astringent and toning properties.
• Comfrey extract (Allantoin) - Repairs skin tissue and promotes new cell growth.
• Vitamin E (Tocopherol Acetate) - An antioxidant, moisturizer and stabilizer.
• Organic olive oil - An antioxidant, moisturizer and skin smoother, rich in vitamins and minerals.
• Organic avocado oil - Used as an emollient. Nourishes with Vitamins A & E; also considered an antioxidant.
• Organic jojoba oil - A liquid plant wax that creates a protective film on skin to maintain moisture.
• Organic sunflower seed oil - High in essential fatty acids. Moisturizes and conditions the skin.
• Glycerin - Plant derived skin-softener and humectant.
• Witch hazel distillate - A non-alcohol astringent, chosen for its antibacterial properties. It is cooling and soothing to the skin.
• Organic aloe vera gel - Chosen for its anti-inflammatory properties, it is cooling to the skin, and stimulates repair to damaged skin.
• Spirae ulmaria extract (Meadowsweet) - Targets clogged pores and reduces sebum.
• Organic rose hip oil - Provides a natural moisture barrier to the skin; Tones and soothes.
• Organic borage oil - Excellent for dry skin, acne, and dermatitis.
• 100% Natural Aromatics - A combination of natural essential oils and aromatics. No synthetics.

Pros: All of the ingredients are all natural. The cleanser makes my skin very soft and it doesn’t dry my skin out. It doesn’t make me break out and since I have dry and sensitive skin, it doesn’t irritate me. Then, the toner is amazing. It’s better than any toner I’ve ever used. It is not alcohol based and doesn’t sting my skin. It actually gives a nice cooling effect. It removes all the dirt from my skin. I actually used it after I came back from my 6 hour job and I touched my face only a couple of times during the day and after I used it, a lot of the oil and gunk showed on the cotton round. I was going to put a picture, but it’s very gross. Tell me if you want to see the crap. Lastly, the moisturizer really helped balance my skin out. After using everything, my face felt very pure and my pores felt unclogged. I didn’t want to put a moisturizer, but there is actually no oil in it which is good. It absorbed into my face quickly and moisturized nicely.

Cons: No cons, I just love the skincare products.

Overall Review: I think this company is by far the best one out there. It has really improved my skin in the first use and I hope to purchase another kit. Also, one kit lasts 4-6 months which is really a bang for your buck. I just love it!

Review: L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara

Hi girls, this will be a review now. I recently found this mascara which is called L’Oreal Telescopic Explosion mascara. Now, it wasn’t available in the U.S. till like the past month. I purchased it from Rite Aid for $9.49. It was pretty reasonable considering that it’s a dupe for the Givenchy mascara also pictured above just to compare. I’ve tested it out for 2 weeks and now I’m here to give a review.

Pros: This mascara separates each lash nicely and makes the lashes appear long and thicker than they are. Gives the falsie effect.

Cons: You have to apply about 2 coats because the first time it kind of clumps and then the second time it just combs through your lashes to get the clumps out. That didn’t really happen on one of my eyes but it did on the other. Very dramatic looking lashes which some people might not like, like me.

Overall review: I would recommend this mascara to anyone who wants false looking, dramatic lashes for less. Especially good for people with thin lashes who want to get mascara inside their inner lashes without getting the mascara on their eyelids. It did go on my eyelid, and I got irritated so it isn’t good to put on eye shadow when using this.

Review: Mario Badescu Skincare

So about 5 month ago I heard about this skincare line called Mario Badescu Skincare. Well, it just so happens that they give out free samples to everyone. You just have to take a short quiz and you get these samples. Well, I tried them out and I fell in love. By the way, every individual person has their own customized samples that they receive. I personally received the Botanical Facial Gel, the Special Mask for Oily Skin, the Hyaluronic Eye Cream, the Strawberry Facial Scrub, the Hydro Moisturizer with Vitamin C, and the Cucumber Cleansing Lotion (toner) and I love them all.

Pros: All of the products work together nicely and they moisturize well as well. Good to use before you wear foundation because the moisturizer works as a good primer and smoothes out my entire face.

Cons: The Special Mask for Oily Skin makes my skin too oily even though my skin is dry. I have no idea why I was sent that.

Overall Review: I love all of the products except for the one specified above.
Rating: 9/10
Packaging: 10/10 Very generous amounts. I still have all the products and I use them every single day.

Disclaimer: I am speaking from my own personal experiences and I am not getting paid for this post. I did receive them for free but they are available to everyone for testing prior to purchasing. I am not affiliated with the company stated above.

Review: MAC Zoomlash Mascara

So this is the mascara you get free with free shipping on MAC Cosmetics online. This seems like every time I order, I always need to use the code because I want the free mascara, but then it always ends up in my bin of neglected makeup. After 5 months of using this stuff, I can finally come up with a review on it so here it goes. My take on this mascara is that maybe because the mascara is so crappy, MAC has to give it away.

Pros: Dark black color.

Cons: Terrible wands, not waterproof, hard to get out of eyes, clump a lot, and too pigmented.

Overall Review: I really don’t like this mascara. It clumps too much on me and is hard to get off. It is too black which can make your lashes look too dramatic and if you rub your eyes while removing it, it gets into your eyes and makes a line that gathers at your tear duct and when you take it out it’s like a huge glob of black stuff. Bottom-line is that don’t invest money in it. If you are so excited to use it them just order it with the free code. Just chat with a makeup artist and ask her if there is any code, that’s what I always do, they’re pretty nice about it.

Review: Wet 'n' Wild Defining Marker

Now we all want a cheap dupe for our high end cosmetics so I bought this liquid eyeliner pen from Rite Aid for $3.99. I thought it would be a nice dupe for the MAC Penultimate Liquid Eyeliner Pen. It actually works well and it’s a good investment. Keep reading to know more.

Pros: Gives precise thin lines, but is also capable of thick lines and good for a pin-up look. It helps with winged eyeliner looks.

Cons: Can sometimes get flimsy and make wrong lines. You would need to pull on your lid because if you don’t, the eyeliner doesn’t set into the wrinkle of your eyes. The pint isn’t that pointy so when trying to do winged eyeliner, the line might be widened and then you would have to extend it.

Overall review: When I first started using this liner, it got on my nerves a lot since I don’t use liquid liner a lot. That is one thing always hated about it that I have to pull on my eye or it won’t settle onto my entire lid. It isn’t that pointy and sometimes when I trey doing winged eyeliner, it makes the pint wide and that just gets on my nerves. It’s very frustrating, but overall I really like it.

Review: Victorias Secret Beauty Rush Lip gloss

So I bought these lip glosses and I fell in love the first time I used them. The colors I have are in Bubble It Up and Juiced Berry. These colors are amazing and here is my review on it!

Pros: I love the consistency, they are very smooth and aren’t very sticky. They condition the lips and exfoliate so if you use it daily, your lips will be kissable in no time. Juiced Berry is a deep berry color in the tube and my mother said it was going to look nice on me, but I was very hesitant and when I tried it on, it was very sheer. The other lighter color in Bubble It Up is a very sheer light pink which I love. They are very glossy and long lasting. They also taste good so you can lick your lips all day long, but the lip gloss still won’t wear off.

Cons: Kind of pricey if you buy it separately which is $7, but with the 5/$20 deal is cheaper.

Overall review: I just love them, they are awesome. I would suggest these to any girl and they come in a huge variety of colors. I think all of you reading this should go out and buy them right now. They are awesome. God, I’m soooo redundant. Well, all I can say is that they are cool and very nice for gloss lovers.

Black Friday Post/ Haul

So, the place I went to had barely any people there so I go to snag all the great deals. Believe it or not, I've never tried any Victorias Secret Beauty Rush makeup so I bought 5 items for $20 which is their current deal. I bought two lip glosses in Juied Berry which is the deep berry color which comes out sheer and Bubble It Up which is the light color. Also I got the Soothing Lip balm in Pink Sugar and it smells minty. Then, I got a nail paint in Cherry on Top and I also got the Balmtastic Double Lip Balm in Bannanaberry. I will post pictures on everything I got above or below. There was a sale at Aeropostale and I went with my friend and her younger sister and she was the one who got stuff from Aeropostale. I mainly focused on building my collection of makeup for my clients and for personal reasons I cannot show the products to you or swatch them, but as I said I will have pics of the stuff that I got. Also at Aeropostale if you buy more than $100 worth of stuff, you get a free bear so I got one because I purchased stuff for my sister. Well, I hope you enjoyed this post and have a happy Saturday!

Review: Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara

So I purchased this mini mascara in an Urban Decay Trifecta that came with the mini 24.7 liner in Bourbon and a mini primer potion. It was $11 and it has lasted me this long since the summer and I love it. Well, there are very less cons about it but I’ll follow my format.

Pros: It lasts very long, doesn’t flake, and doesn’t dry out fast. Also it separates each and every lash and doesn’t clump on ME. It lengthens and brings volume to my lashes. It also has a huge wand.

Cons: Kind of thick, but doesn’t really matter to me.

Overall Review: I really like this mascara. It’s also by far the one I will keep on repurchasing. Plus, it’s pretty cheap when you buy it in the trifecta. Well, I guess all of you should go and buy this immediately.

Review: MAC Studio Moisture Tint SPF 15

This product I'm reviewing today won't be in my normal format since I love this product to death. Well, I have to follow it even if I don’t want to because it makes the most sense so let’s get started.

Pros: The good things are that after you apply it, it barely feels like you are wearing it. Your skin feels very natural and you get medium sheer coverage which is perfect for days when you don’t feel like wearing a lot of makeup. I personally only have a couple of blemishes and dark circles so I use this a lot because it covers my blemishes and as for my dark circles, well those are eternal. This is very sheer and since I bought it in the summer, I have the shade medium, but now since it is winter, I got lighter so this tinted moisturizer gives my face a nice bronzed look. Just one thing is that my neck and face don’t match. It’s not that bad. Well, for the winter, this is best since it doesn’t dry out dry faces and doesn’t oil up oily faces. My skin type remains neutral and I don’t get oily throughout the day. I don’t even have to set my face with powder because the tinted moisturizer doesn’t shift throughout the day.

Cons: It smells funny, that’s it.

Overall Review: I love this stuff. This is probably going to be my holy grail foundation until I die or until it’s in the permanent line and the day MAC is discontinuing it, I will purchase a lifetime supply. It works wonders on my face especially since I have dry skin. I would recommend this to anyone who likes tinted moisturizers. This one has the best consistency so you only need a pea sized amount for your entire face. That’s how much I’ve been using since July and I still have plenty of it left. This is by far the best product I’ve ever used in my entire life.

Review: MAC Just A Pinch Gel Blush

Now, I bought this product when the MAC Rose Romance Collection first came out and many people were intrigued, but after a while, it became less popular. Let's see why this happened!

Pros: Very sheer color in first use and very buildable. You are able to apply the quantity you want to without looking overone. Best for those winter days when going to work and you just want that fresh rosy color that looks dewy. Provides sufficient moisture to your cheeks and definately stays on since its a gel cheek stain. Nicely packaged. Two-in-one product which can also give your lips a nice stain. Don't let the color intimidate you!

Cons: Hard to apply on the go, stain only comes off with oil based makeup remover, makes your pores more noticable, and best for use with a stippler brush. Normal blush brushes are too flimsy to do the trick.

Overall Review: I would suggest this for usage when NOT in a huge hurry. The pot is kind of unsanitary when using it on other people. I personally use this 4 times a week beucase I'm always at home when I do my makeup and I have plenty of time to use it properly.I especially like its dewiness. I don't build my color when I use it, I juts put a sheer coat, but I really like it. I might have a blog sale, just watch out for one!

Review: Maybelline Expertwear Eyshadow Trio in Impeccable Grays

I bought this trio from Rite Aid for $5.29 4 months ago and I decided to review it becuase of the quality.

Pros: Very shimmery, perfect for a night out (black smokey eye), non-creasing, and wonderful color combinations. Good for a light smokey eye, nothing too dramatic.

Cons: You have to use a good primer in order to help this from creasing. The colors fade away quickly; even with UDPP. They aren't vibrant no matter which primer you use. You have to layer on the shadows becuase they aren't that pigmented. The sponge tip applicator does no good so buy some professional brushes before buying this trio. Good for a light smokey eye, nothing too dramatic.

Overall review: I would use this a lot, but it doesn't last as long as normal people would want it to. The colors are very shimmery and not appropriate for a girl's special occassion such as a graduation late at night. I really like it, but Maybelline should come up with more pigmented colors. I just like that its very sleek and fits in your pocket for on the go.

Review: Marc Anthony Style Straight Instant Straightening Cream

So this review is on a hair product I've been using for a week now. Keep reading for more info! I purchsed it from Rite Aid for 8 dollars. It is a cream that starightens your hair, but its best to blow dry it or flat iron it afterwards.

Pros: It makes your hair feel thick and this is expecially for those girls with thin hair. It protects against damage and dryness and my hair feels very soft and voluminous. You also get bang for your buck becuase one $8 bottle can last you for about 5 months since you only need half of an egg sizes dollop to instantly nourish and straight your hair.

Cons: Maybe girls who don't like the smell of cologne should stay away from it because it smells like cologn just like the CHI 44 Iron Guard. It doesn't exactly instantly straighten, after it dries on your hair, you do have to flat iron or blow dry it.

Overall review: It works pretty nicely, but weighs my hair down a little, but I still love it! I would recommend this to anyone who wants salon staright hair for just $8.

Review: L'oreal De-crease Eyeshadow Primer

This is my first review and I'll have them always in pro/con and overall review format as well as packaging. Then,I'll grade the product from 1-10.

Pros: Eyeshadows do last long, but they only last for 4 hours no longer. Very thick and creamy and moiturizing for the dry eyelinds. Doesn't cake and doesn't dry out. Better than UDPP. Brings out the colors of the eyshadows.

Cons: Unsanitary wand for application, eyeshadow creases sometimes, not good for use with pigmented colors. Wears away easily, but the closest thing to UDPP right after Pandora's Makeup Box Eyeprimer.

Overall Review: I like this product a lot, but I purchase many because sometimes whenever I'm doing makeup for someone, I always use the wand on their eyelid be accident and then I have to give it to them since it has their bacteria on it.

Rating: 9.2/10

Packaging:9/10

See how easy that was, hope you like my format!
