Hey girls! It’s finally here. Attack of the GREEN OGRES! No, I’m just kidding ya, but today I do have a quite interesting review on nail polishes. They are from the new OPI Shrek Forever After Collection. This collection is set to release in May at all ULTA stores, OPI’s website, and other e-tailers like 8ty8beauty.com and transdesign.com as well as other beauty supply stores. As promised, I have shown pictures and swatches in separate posts. It will retail anywhere from $4-$9. Now, here’s the review with complete descriptions of all of the shades released with this collection.
Shade Descriptions:
-OPI Ogre-The-Top Blue: A true dark blue where it’s not too navy or too sky blue.
-OPI Who the Shrek Are You? : A booger colored green which is also a crème. It’s like a leaf colored green.
-OPI What’s with the Cattitude? : This is a pastel mix between sky blue and baby blue. It’s a very softened shade, but not exactly too light.
-OPI Funky Dunkey: A true softened purple. This is also a crème. It’s less dark and black than Lincoln Park After Dark.
-OPI Fiercely Fiona: It’s a softened pastel yellow/green that’s not too bright and perfect for spring in my opinion.
-OPI
Pro(s):
-Opaque in two coats.
-Exclusive pro-wide brush which makes application easier.
-Shelf life of 24 months after opening (I base it on consistency though)/
-Not too thin or thick consistency. Just right that makes it truly opaque.
Con(s):
-None found while testing this product!
Overall review: I just love this collection. Everything about it is really good and the fact that the color is so opaque in two coats is just amazing. In all of the swatches I used only two coats. All of the colors from this collection are really unique and worth purchasing. The good thing is that all of them are crèmes so you really won’t have a problem in terms of streakiness. I hope you all enjoyed my review because all of you had been emailing me 24/7 asking me to do this review!
Rating: 10/10 :)
Is it VICKY approved? : Yup, I definitely love everything!

Review: Marie Veronique Organics Anti-Aging Mist
Hey girls! Today I will be reviewing the Marie Veronique Organics Anti-Aging Mist which is step two of their skincare system (hydrate). It retails for $35 from mvorganics.com. When sprayed, it looks brown and it has some pulp from whatever they derived the ingredients from. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-It brightens my dull skin and leaves it like that for almost the entire day.
-It smells wonderful which that organic scent.
Con(s):
-None found!
Overall review: I just love this. It brightens my skin and keeps it like that for a good 7 hours. I did see that it sort of kept dead skin cells from building up on my skin. I like the fact that it is in a spray bottle. Everything from this company is organics and even thought its $35, it will definitely last you forever. Again, sensitive nose might not like the super organic scent that I really love. It makes you feel that whatever you’re putting on your skin, it’s not harmful. I hope all of you enjoyed my review!
Rating: 10/10 :)
Is it VICKY approved? : Yup, it really helped my skin!

Review: Marie Veronique Organics Exfoliating Cleanser
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Marie Veronique Organics exfoliating cleanser which is part of step one of their skincare (cleanse). It retails for $35 from mvorganics.com. It smells very organic and it brown with small black exfoliating beads. It comes packaged in a glass bottle without a pump. Keep reading to see my
Pro(s):
-It doesn’t dry out my skin, but at the same time I exfoliated very nicely.
-It doesn’t Clog my pores and make me break out.
-It smells amazing because it’s a very organic scent.
Con(s):
-No pump in the bottle.
Overall review: I really love this cleanser. The cool thing is that you can use this everyday without frying out your skin. It’s gentle on the skin without stripping your skin of its natural oils. This is universal for all skin types which makes it even better since more than one person can use it. The small beads do not irritate my skin at least, but it might work differently for you. The consistency is runny which isn’t that bad, but sometimes you might pour out more than you need so I suggest buying a separate pump or putting an old pump on it. I hope all of you enjoyed this review!
Rating: 9.5/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, I highly suggest getting this product!

Review: Zosimos Botanicals Blending Fluff Brush
Hey girls! Today again I’ll be reviewing the Zosimos Botanicals Blending Fluff Brush. This retails for $10 from ZosimosBotanicals.com. Zosimos Botanicals is an online store that specializes in organic and animal friendly products like petrolatum free lip products and mineral eye products as well as bath and body products. Keep reading to know more about this brush!
Pro(s):
-Doesn’t shed and is very soft.
-Blends out shades nicely without spreading color everywhere.
-Steady brush ferule and multi-use (lid color, crease color, highlight).
Con(s):
-None found while the testing of this product was conducted.
Overall review: I really find that I’m reaching for this brush everyday now. I’ve actually had it for 2 months but I wanted to give it a full test to make sure nothing happened in the 8 times (once a week) I washed the brush. It didn’t shed or anything which as the coolest part. I find that it’s very convenient to travel with it since it doesn’t get deformed easily, but maybe that was just my way of storage so I didn’t make it a pro or con. I just hope all of you enjoyed this review and thanks to Anita for requesting this review!
Rating: 10/10 :)
Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, especially for the cheap price!

Review: Zosimos Botanicals Lipstick Mini
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Zosimos Botanicals Mini Lipsticks. I have three shades. They are the following: Peony which is a hot pink color, Peachfuzz which is a frosted gold color, and Lilac which is a light lavender shade. The mini sticks retail for $3 and the full size shades retail for $18. You can buy them off of Zosimosbotanicals.com. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-Very moisturizing!
-Medium pigmentation.
-Compact and easy to travel with.
-You get to try the shades before you buy them in full size.
-They last 4 hours.
Con(s):
-I think $3 for something so small is a bit pricey. They should be like $1 or $1.50 at most.
Overall review: I like these mini lipsticks, but they aren’t worth the price. Even if they’re $3, you only get 4 grams of product. That’s really less, but I really like the lipsticks themselves. They are easy to travel with and are a good option for people which want to try out their lipsticks before purchasing the full size $18 one. They last pretty long and they come in different finishes like frosts, creams, and mattes. They aren’t the most pigmented, but they’re not the sheerest. Thanks
for reading and I hope all of you enjoy this review!
Rating: 9/10
Is it recommended by Vicky? : Of course; it’s a great way to try out new shades!

Review: Zosimos Botanicals Take Along Lip Therapy and Minipot Lip balm
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Zosimos Botanicals Mini-pot Lip balms and Take Along Lip Therapy both in apricot nectar. The reason I’m reviewing them both together is because one is a pot form of the lip balm and the lip balm is the balm for of the pot. They have the same exact formula. Their main ingredients are shea butter and coco butter. The lip balms retail for $3.50 and the mini-pot lip balm retail for $2. Keep reading to see my review on this product!
Pro(s):
-Very moisturizing and travel friendly!
-Cheap and glides on smoothly.
-Retains moisture for 4 hours!
Con(s):
-None found during the testing of this product was conducted!
Overall review: I really love this lip balm and pot lip balm. They both are great to travel with and are very moisturizing. I find that these work best as a primer to my lip product because it seals in the moisture and makes my lip glosses appear less sticky. This would be best for using under your MAC lipglasses. I hope all of you enjoyed my review and thanks to Farah for requesting this review!
Rating: 10/10 :)

Review: My Lip Stuff Lip balm
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the My lip Stuff Lip balms. I have three of them. They are in the following flavors: Jelly Doughnut, Coconut Lime, and Rainbow Sherbet. These retail for $2.50 a tube. They also sell bath and body fragrances, but they are most well known for these products. They actually have over 500 flavors and all of them are all natural and paraben-free. They can be found on their website mylipstuff.com. Keep reading to see my review on these lip balms!
Pro(s):
-Very environmentally friendly.
-Very moisturizing.
-The moisture lasts really long.
Con(s):
-None found during the testing of this product!
Overall review: I really like these lip balms. They’re best for using under my lip products and you get so much moisture with one swipe on the top lip and bottom lip. It makes your lips smooth and doesn’t addict your lips to this product since it has no petrolatum. Thanks to Jesse F. for requesting a review of this product and I hope all of you enjoyed!
Rating: 10/10 :)
Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yes, I’m very fond of this product!

Review: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Revlon Color burst lipstick in Baby Pink. This shade is a frosted baby pink shade. It can be found at any drugstore, at many online e-tailers, as well as places where Revlon is sold. The price actually varies by store ranging anywhere from $7-$9. It had a slanted tip much like a Lancôme or CHANEL lipstick and it has “Revlon” engraved in it like CHANEL lipsticks do. Happy reading!
Pro(s):
-Its formula is very moisturizing and smooth.
-This lipstick doesn’t emphasize the cracks in your lips.
-It is much pigmented and the frostiness of it looks good on everyone.
-A great variety of shades.
-Last for a good 3 hours.
Con(s):
-Probably a bit pricey for a drugstore lipstick so try finding it on BOGO.
Overall review: I really like investing my money in these lipsticks. They are greatly pigmented and are pretty cheap. Some of the shades are cream while others are satin and some are frosts. I personally think that all of them are the same in texture but show up a bit differently on your lips. Overall I would really suggest them to anyone who wants a CHANEL comparable lipstick (because of its engraving), but at a drugstore price. Thanks to Shannon for requesting the review!
Rating: 9/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yup, best for drugstore addicts!

Review: Karma Organic Spa Nail Polish
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Karma Organic Spa Nail Polishes. The shades I have them are in 2 Deep Red and 87 Café Au Lait. 2 Deep Red is a true red. This stuff is even in about two-three coats and it’s a crème. 87 Café Au Lait is shimmery beige/champagne color with shimmer. I think this is a frost shade. This retails for $9.99 from karmaorganicspa.com. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-Very pigmented since it’s even in two-three coats.
-It doesn’t have a very thick consistency or too runny consistency.
-It formulated without the three “bad ingredients” which are DBP, formaldehyde, and toluene.
Con(s):
-Doesn’t dry very fast.
Overall review: I love these polishes. They aren’t the most expensive polishes, but they aren’t the cheapest either. Their consistency is perfect in my opinion. It doesn’t streak at all. It goes on evenly without leaving bald spots on the nail beds. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t dry super fast because of its consistency. I hope all of you enjoyed this review and more will be coming soon!
Rating: 9.5/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, I definitely recommend this for the summertime.

Review: NEW Hourglass Cosmetics Illume Cream-to-Powder Bronzer Duo
Hey girls! Today I’ll be review the Hourglass Cosmetics Illume Crème-to-Powder Bronzer Duo in Sunset. As far as what I’ve been told, this product will be released in May. It will retail for $40 just like their other bronzer duo except this one has a blush with bronzer and the other one has highlighter with bronzer. The bronzer and blush duo will be available at Sephora stores and their website as well as hourglasscosmetics.com.
Pro(s):
-Very easy to blend and you can apply with anything you want to (brush, sponge, fingers).
-Universal shades can complement any skin tone and since the shades are buildable, you can never over do it or under do it.
-Cool 360 degree swivel compact case which is very sleek with a huge mirror.
-It stays matte all day and doesn’t grease up your entire face.
Con(s):
-None found!
Overall review: I just love this product. I’ve never tried a cream to powder bronzer or blush, but now I think that the concept is pretty creative. The fact that it becomes a powder is a happy thing for people with oily skin. I just love the packaging although it will get fingerprints all over it. I hope everyone enjoys this product (at least whoever will be buying it) and please keep requesting reviews. I enjoy doing them so much!
Rating: 9.5/10

Review: Karma Organic Spa Organic Nail Polish Remover
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Karma Organic Nail Polish remover. It retails for $12 from karmaorganicspa.com. They are the first people to have nail polish remover with a soy mixture. Their removers are also made of farm crops thus supporting American farmers. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-It doesn’t have
-It takes of my polish fast and efficiently.
-Its organic and the container (glass bottle) it’s packaged in is 100% recycled and it’s biodegradable. It doesn’t have harmful acetone or alcohol.
Con(s):
-None found.
Overall review: I love this nail polish remover. It doesn’t contain acetone or alcohol which can go into your blood stream and eat away at your liver. It’s organic and unscented which I like. When I remove my polish, it feels like I’m removing my nail polish with oil. It has vitamin E oil which doesn’t leave your nails dried out and peeled looking after you remove your polish. It doesn’t leave any residue around your cuticles of your polish and

Review: LeVin Skincare Face Cream
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Le Vin Face Cream with Antioxidant Wine Therapy. This ingredient keeps your skin from environmental stressors. It also doesn’t make your skin appear like its aging. As we all know, for decades people have been drinking red wine and water to keep their skin healthy, but now you don’t have to do that because using this cream will create that appearance on your face. The ingredient that I saw in it and got excited was Hyaluronic Acid which de-puffs and doesn’t make your skin dull. I used to use an eye cream with Hyaluronic Acid and it de-puffed my eyes and made them look alive. Keep reading to see what my opinion on this product is.
Pro(s):
-Very moisturizing and doesn’t grease up my face throughout the day.
-It doesn’t smell bad. I actually like it because it’s light and not too strong.
-Cute packaging.
-A little bit goes a long way and it’s organic.
Con(s):
-None found while testing this product!
Overall review: I just love this face cream. It’s not too thick or too runny. It’s right in the middle. It’s made of a lot of organic ingredients like Chamomile and Lavender as well as Sunflower seed Oil and Flax Seed oil. The thing I like most about this product is that it doesn’t create those small bumps on my face that happen when I use thick face creams. The reason behind that is that your skin can’t absorb all of that thick moisturizer so thus your skin becomes mildly irritated to it and you get bumps. Note: I am in no way a professional for skincare and what works for me may not work for you. I hope Julie enjoyed my review since she was the one who requested it. All of you other viewers too I hope you enjoy!

Review: Seed Grape Seed Enriched Body Lotion
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Seed Power Body Lotion. These come in three different scents. One is unscented, the next one is restful lavender sage, and the final one is invigorating citrus thyme. Their retail price is $7.99 . You can purchase them off of seedpowerbodycare.com. They also have a “Where to Buy” section so you might want to check in that area and you can definitely get them at Whole Foods stores.. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-It’s very moisturizing because it has shea butter as a main ingredient.
-Its 100% natural and organic.
-The packaging is convenient in a pump styled plastic bottle.
Con(s):
-Some people might be disturbed by the super organic scent of all of them. It’s just an ingredient.
Overall review: I honestly think that this stuff has everything a woman would ever want in her moisturizer however the smell is unbearable. It just smells too organic and I don’t like that smell. Well at least whenever I smell it I know that its organic and not harming the environment. The scent fades in a couple of minutes so it’s not that bad. You will survive unless you have a very sensitive nose. Thanks to Maria B. for requesting this review and I hope you like this product.
Rating: 8/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, but I won’t buy it because it’s not available offline as far as I know.

Review: Exuviance Brightening Bionic Eye Cream
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Exuviance Brightening Bionic Eye Cream. This can be purchased from Neostrata.com and exuviance.com. It retails for $50. Its yellow in color and its consistency isn’t too thick or too runny. It right in between. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-Moisturizes my eye area.
-Helps my under eye concealer go on smoothly.
-Over 8 weeks, I do see less fine lines and wrinkles under my eyes and my puffiness has decreased as well as my under eye darkness.
-A little bit goes a long way.
Con(s):
-It takes a while for you to notice any difference.
Overall review: I think personally that this is a very good eye cream. Even if its $50, it will last you a long time and a little bit goes a very long way. I really love this product. There’s nothing about it that I don’t like it. The price might set you back a bit and you might not be able to purchase anything for a month or so, but this is a real good investment to make. Thanks to Sara for requesting the review. Enjoy girls and (some) boys!
Rating: 8.5/10

Review: Udderly Smooth Udder Cream
Hey girls! Today I’m reviewing the Udderly Smooth Udder Cream. It contains 4 oz. of product and retails at drugstores ranging anywhere from $2-$4. It smells like nothing and looks white. It was originally formulated to use of dairy cows and then they formed a similar version for humans to use for smooth skin because this product smoothed the cows’ udders. Their creams can also be used on diabetics and their foot care is especially formulated for this use. The packaging is cool because it has the cow’s skin pattern on it. Keep reading to see what I think about this product!
Pro(s):
-Moisturizes dry and rough skin.
-The moisture lasts a really long time and it makes my skin silky smooth and soft.
-It’s good for all seasons because it’s not greasy like other moisturizers.
-Cool packaging and very affordable. Its available almost everywhere (no department stores but like Wal- Mart and Target).
Con(s):
-No SPF factor.
Overall review: I really like this product. The fact that it was formulated for a cow sort of bothers me a bit, but in the end when looking at the results, I am really satisfied and none of that matters anymore. Maybe some people who hate the smell of baby powder and baby lotion might hate the smell, but it’s pretty normal to me. Its thick when you take it out of the tube, but when blended it comes out more watery. This times Jason F. from Los Angeles, CA has requested this review so I hope you enjoyed it. This is good for boys and girls! I hope all of you enjoyed!
Rating: 9.5/10

Review: Olavie Chardonnay Wine Therapy Antioxidant Hand Cream
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Olavie Chardonnay Wine Therapy Antioxidant Hand Cream. Its retail price is unknown and I believe you can purchase it from olavie.com. This product will last for about 12 months after you first open it. It has grape seed extract which prevents aging of the hands and you’re probably thinking “WHAT, MY HANDS CAN AGE”. Well, yes they can. One of my father’s arms has aged because the sun keeps on continuously hitting it when he drives. It’s definitely darker and a bit wrinkled. Keep reading to see why I’m absolutely obsessed with this product!
Pro(s):
-This keeps your hands from aging since it has grape seed extract in it as well as antioxidants from wine.
-The moisture from this hand cream lasts very long and actually improves the moisture level in my hands.
-A little bit goes a long way.
Con(s):
-None found!
Overall review: This is the best product I’ve ever used. Lately that’s how I’m describing a lot of the product I’m reviewing, but that is only because I really love these products. You only need half of a pea sized amount to do both of your hands so not matter that the rice is, you definitely will be able to afford it. I don’t think the scent will bother anybody. I hope everybody enjoys this review and always keep requesting!
Rating: 10/10 :)
Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, I would recommend this to anyone with dry hands.

Review: Hourglass Cosmetics Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Hourglass Cosmetics Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15. It basically a mineral based primer without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic dyes and fragrances and sulfates. It retails for $52 from Sephora.com, hourglasscosmetics.com, Sephora stores, and other various boutiques. You get 1 oz. of product.
Pro(s):
-Very moisturizing and doesn’t grease up my face.
-Prevents my foundation from oxidizing and helps it lasts at least 7 hours.
-Conveniently packaged in a frosted glass, pump vial.
-Its water resistant and a little bit goes a long way.
-It mattifes my skin instantly and fills in fine lines.
Con(s):
-Weird blue undertone.
-Expensive for a little bit of product.
Overall review: I just love this product. It’s the best primer I’ve ever tried. There is really nothing bad about it. There’s everything in this product that you would want from a primer except for its cost and the weird blue undertone you get when you blend it in. I think it’s there to neutralize any dullness or redness from your skin tone and just create a flawless looking face for foundation application. It helps my blush last really long and that’s what I absolutely love about it. In the picture you cannot see the blue undertone. Actually it not that bad once you blend it out. The thing that actually bothers me is its price. I know that I wouldn’t be able to live with myself knowing that I bought a $52 primer. I still would’ve understood if it was a foundation but a PRIMER! Well, overall I love it and I suggest buying it because you don’t really need that much to do your entre face. A little bit will last you a really long time.
Rating: 9.5/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, I plan on purchasing another one as soon as I’m done!

Review: Monave Cosmetics Lip Gloss
Hey girls! Today again I’ll be reviewing the Monave Cosmetics Lip gloss in Violet. The full size retail for $13.50 and the mini retail for $3.50. The one shown in the picture is the mini size. The shade I have is Violet which is a pinkish purple with blue/purple undertones from the shimmer. It smells citrusy and like oranges. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-Its vegan and gluten free.
-Its smooth and it’s not gritty.
-It is not too pigmented or too sheer.
-No taste.
-It has nice shimmer and consistency.
Con(s):
-No cons!
Overall review: I absolutely love this product. It’s non sticky and just the perfect gloss. I actually have it on right now as I’m writing up the review. It is amazing. The smaller size is great for people who travel and if you really like it, then you can buy the full size. It’s just as god quality as MAC and actually costs less for more product. I hope Lorie and Teresa enjoy this review since they were the one who asked for a review on it!

Review: BH Cosmetics 28 neutral palette and 88 warm palette
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Bh Cosmetics 28 neutral palette and the 88 warm palettes. Both palettes are much pigmented and are inexpensive. The 28 neutral palette costs $19.95. The 88 neutral palette costs $24.95. You can buy these off of bhcosmetics.com. Keep reading to see these thoughts on these palettes!
Pro(s):
-Very sleek packaging (matte black and shiny black).
-All of the eye shadows are much pigmented. There’s not even one that isn’t pigmented.
-It’s the perfect mix of shades for upcoming brides to be.
-Very travel friendly.
Con(s):
-No cons
Overall review: I love these palettes to death. All the shades are much pigmented and there’s nothing about them that I don’t like. BH cosmetics ships these well and they won’t shatter or anything. I really like the 28 neutral one as well as the 88 warm one, but if I had to opt out for only one, I would just buy the 88 warm palettes. I think both palettes are a great buy and you can get it without setting you back. The shadows in the 28 neutral palettes are the size of MAC shadows so think that you’re getting 28 MAC quality shadows for a fraction of the cost. I did the math and 28 MAC shadows in pan form would cost you $308 vs. $19.95. That is approximately 1/15th of the cost. How cool. I hope Annette enjoyed the review since she requested it, thanks a ton!
Rating: 9/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, I definitely suggest this for anyone who loves neutrals and doesn’t want to spend a fortune.
