Hey girls! Another last review before bedtime and I have a surprise coming up for y’all tomorrow. I’ll be reviewing the Erno Lazlo MULTI-pHASE Blusher. It retails for $38 from their website and as always their link will be in the side bar. It’s a mosaic powder blush and when you mix all shades together, you get pinkish purple with hints of mauve in it. It has some shimmers, but for the most part is matte. Keep reading to see my review on it!
Pro(s):
-Its smooth and finely milled.
-The color is very buildable and suitable for all skin tones.
-I didn’t notice any fading after 5 hours of wear.
-Nice black compact with mirror and they don’t test on animals.
Con(s):
-A bit on the pricey side.
Overall review: If you’re used to Chanel and Dior then this brand is for you. It’s around that price range and the powders are very silky, smooth and just very luxe feeling. I would say that the packaging is generic, but the product itself feels like you’re holding a Vera Moore Powder. The thing I liked about it is that any skin tone can use it. When you first look at the powder, you might say that darker skin tones will not be able to use it since it won’t show up, but the color is buildable. If you can afford a $38 blush, I think that this is the best thing to invest in since it’s amazing. For me the price is a con, but someone used to Chanel won’t mind the price. Thanks to Julia for the request and I hope all of you. I’m actually doing another review so I’m not doing for the night yet!
Rating: 9.5/10
Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, if you can afford being set back $38 then go for

Review: The Body Shop Love Gloss Collection
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing The Body Shop Love Gloss Collection. This collection was released in February and some of the shades are being re-promoted in the Summer Nomadic Goddess Collection for 2010. These retail for $12. There were 9 shades released with the collection. I’ve seen this price on different blogs and on their website. You can also purchase these glosses from their website. You can also buy them in-store. Keep reading for my review!
Pro(s):
-Not a very strong scent; more of like a light tropical scent pineapples and lasts over 2 hours on me.
-Very shiny and greatly pigmented.
-Non-stick formula and very smooth.
-Nice “heart shaped” and tilted applicator to fit the contour of your lips which easily deposits product.
-Wide range of shades for a variety of skin tones.
Con(s):
-None found while testing this product.
Overall review: I love these. They are by far the best lip glosses I’ve tried. You get more product for less money than a MAC lip gloss and they are MAC comparable. I like these for everyday and some colors like the dark one I have are also suitable for an elegant evening out. You get the coverage of a lipstick with the gloss and shine of a lip gloss. It last very long and that’s what I like which means less touch-ups and more time doing whatever you enjoy. Thanks to Carissa for requesting
the review, I hope everyone enjoyed!
Rating: 10/10 :)
Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yes, I love these!

Review: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick
Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Revlon Color burst lipstick in Baby Pink. This shade is a frosted baby pink shade. It can be found at any drugstore, at many online e-tailers, as well as places where Revlon is sold. The price actually varies by store ranging anywhere from $7-$9. It had a slanted tip much like a LancĂ´me or CHANEL lipstick and it has “Revlon” engraved in it like CHANEL lipsticks do. Happy reading!
Pro(s):
-Its formula is very moisturizing and smooth.
-This lipstick doesn’t emphasize the cracks in your lips.
-It is much pigmented and the frostiness of it looks good on everyone.
-A great variety of shades.
-Last for a good 3 hours.
Con(s):
-Probably a bit pricey for a drugstore lipstick so try finding it on BOGO.
Overall review: I really like investing my money in these lipsticks. They are greatly pigmented and are pretty cheap. Some of the shades are cream while others are satin and some are frosts. I personally think that all of them are the same in texture but show up a bit differently on your lips. Overall I would really suggest them to anyone who wants a CHANEL comparable lipstick (because of its engraving), but at a drugstore price. Thanks to Shannon for requesting the review!
Rating: 9/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yup, best for drugstore addicts!

Review: NEW Wet 'N' Wild Mega Last Lip color
Hey girls! For the gazillionth time today, I will be reviewing another product. This product is new from Wet ‘N’Wild and its called the Mega Last Lip color. I have the two shades of this in Think Pink and Just Peachy. You can purchase this from any drugstore for about $2.99 which wont set you back that much. Continue reading for more information!
Pro(s):
-Very pigmented.
-Smooth and lightweight on the lips.
-Wears for over 5 hours without touchups.
-Very affordable.
Con(s):
-The color bleeds a bit.
-Not very shiny.
Overall review: I love these lipsticks. They just bleed in color a bit and they are matte. That’s all that I kind of find annoying. In one swipe this shade is much pigmented. You will never have to use a lip color eraser because it even covered up my pigmented lips. Since the shades are matte, they might look a bit pastel but what I do is put a smooth lip balm under this product before applying it with a light hand to get the perfect amount of color. It has a huge range of shades and I bet you can find a dupe for your favorite MAC lipsticks in this collection. I hope all of you enjoyed the review!
Rating: 9/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, I’ll soon buy more colors!

Review: Hard Candy Nail Polish
Hey girls! Today I’m reviewing the Hard Candy Nail Polish in Pretty in Punk. This retails for $5 from Wal-Mart Stores and walmart.com. This shade is a mid-tone blue based pink with teeny tiny shimmers that can only be seen when the product is in the bottle. Keep reading for more information.
Pros:
-Goes on very evenly with only 2 coats.
-Nice packaging; comes with a free ring!
-I like the brush.
-Dries very fast.
Con(s):
-No cons!
Overall review: I just really like this polish. It’s thick but not in a dried up way and this way your polish goes on very evenly. In the swatch, I only use 2 coats and the color is very even. It very simple and perfect for little girls although the line is mainly meant for people between the ages 13-18. I personally like it and for the price you have to buy it. I hope you enjoyed the review!
Rating: 10/10
Is it VICKY approved? : Of course, I look forward to purchasing this in the future.
