Review: Hard Candy Kaleyedescope Baked Eyeshadow Duo

Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Hard Candy Kaleyedescope Baked Eye shadow Duo. This retails for $6 from walmart.com and Wal-Mart stores. The shade I have this duo is in Pick Up Line. The lighter shade is a frosty white shade that looks like a frosty gold/yellow because of the duo chrome. The darker aqua blue shade is turquoise/blue looking on the eyelids because of the duo chrome again. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-Very pigmented!
-Affordable at only $6 a pop.
-The shadows have a nice duo chrome effect.
-Can be used wet or dry.

Con(s):
-A lot of fallout.

Overall review: I really like this eye shadow duo. They’re like the perfect duo you would ever want without paying the hefty price of MAC Mineralized Duos. The only thing that bothered me was that there was a lot of fallout and since it was very shimmery it was hard to just “sweep” away the fallout. The shimmer would spread if you tried sweeping it away so you should use a shadow shield. Everything else is perfect about it like I said before. I hope all of you enjoyed and keep requesting!

Rating: 9/10

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, I’ll definitely be getting me more of these!

Review: Hard Candy Lipstick

Hey girls! Today I’m reviewing a Hard Candy lipstick in No Peeking. This can be purchased at Wal-Mart stores and walmart.com. This retails for $6 which is very budget friendly. The color is a very bright dark pink and the swatch shown is the exact color of how it comes out on lips. There isn’t any shimmer in it and its sort of matter but still has an opaque finish. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-Very budget friendly.
-Good pigmentation.
-Cute packaging.
-Moisturizes my lips.
-A lot of shades to fit any skin tone.

Con(s):
-It smudges.

Overall review: I really like this lipstick but my only complaint is that it smudges and feathers even when I use a lip liner. It’s too pigmented in my opinion but that isn’t really a bad thing at all. It glides on like butter and the formula is better than even a MAC Cream sheen lipstick. I would buy this no matter what and it seems like a good dupe of the Korres Lipstick. It glides on like butter which is very good and you wouldn’t need to use a gloss on top because of its opaqueness. This review was requested by Sammy but I forgot to mention the other requesters in other reviews. I’ll try doing that as much as possible because you people seem to like my reviews Thanks for all the support!

Rating: 9/10

Is it VICKY approved? : Definitely, I look forward to purchasing more in the future.

Review: Hard Candy Shockingly Glossy Lip Pencil

Hey girls! Today I’m reviewing the Hard Candy Visibly Wet Shockingly Glossy Lip Pencil. You can buy this at Wal-Mart stores or walmart.com. It retails for $6. The two shades I’m reviewing are Cupcake and Precious. Cupcake is a light pink which silver shimmer that’s hardly noticeable. Precious is a warm red that is not too sheer or too pigmented so it’s good for wearing everyday too. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-They smell great.
-Very smooth.
-Non-sticky.
-Just the perfect amount of shimmer and pigmentation.
-Travel friendly packaging.
-Budget friendly price.

Con(s):
-NO sharpener included which can make it hard, but you should be able to sharpen it with a normal makeup pencil sharpener.

Overall review: I really adore these lip pencils. They’re good for on the go and save you the hassle of carrying around a huge tube of lip gloss. They’re not too sheer or too pigmented which is the good thing. The best thing about these is that there are a lot of shades available which makes it easy to find something for every skin tone. They also smell divine. I really felt like biting the pencil off once, but my sister stopped me (SERIOUSLY)! The one which is my favorites is Cupcake since it’s a medium pigmented pink that’s would just add a hint of color to your lips. I hope you enjoyed this review and keep requesting as usual!

Review: Hard Candy Nail Polish

Hey girls! Today I’m reviewing the Hard Candy Nail Polish in Pretty in Punk. This retails for $5 from Wal-Mart Stores and walmart.com. This shade is a mid-tone blue based pink with teeny tiny shimmers that can only be seen when the product is in the bottle. Keep reading for more information.

Pros:
-Goes on very evenly with only 2 coats.
-Nice packaging; comes with a free ring!
-I like the brush.
-Dries very fast.

Con(s):
-No cons!

Overall review: I just really like this polish. It’s thick but not in a dried up way and this way your polish goes on very evenly. In the swatch, I only use 2 coats and the color is very even. It very simple and perfect for little girls although the line is mainly meant for people between the ages 13-18. I personally like it and for the price you have to buy it. I hope you enjoyed the review!

Rating: 10/10

Is it VICKY approved? : Of course, I look forward to purchasing this in the future.
