Review: Erno Laszlo Light Controlling Lotion

Hey girls! Today I will be reviewing the Erno Laszlo Light Controlling Lotion. This retails for $39 for 6.8 oz. It’s meant for slightly dry to oily skin. The link to their site will be in the side bar. Basically it’s a toner that you use after you remove your makeup and cleanse your face. It claims to balance the pH of your skin so you skin will not be too dry or too oily. Keep reading to read my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-It removes all traces of makeup left after makeup removing and cleansing.
-It removes a lot of dead skin cells off of my face but most of all off of my neck.
-When you use it, you really get a very clean feel!

Con(s):
-It might sting and it smells like fragrant alcohol if that makes any sense.

Overall review: I really like this toner. It doesn’t dry my skin out too much and balances my skin so that it transformed in 3 months from very dry to normal. Yes you read it right, my skin is now normal. I don’t get dry cheeks after I use cleanser and my T-zone isn’t oily either. I absolutely feel that it’s worth every penny. You don’t even need that much. Every morning and night, I take the entire cap off of the bottle and put my cotton square to the top and turn it upside down and back. That’s all the product I need to do my face and neck. You wouldn’t believe how much gunk comes off of my neck because in the summer, your sweat leaves a lot of dead skin there. Thanks to Rita for requesting this review and I hope all of you enjoyed!

Rating: 9.5/10

Is it recommended by Vicky? : I absolutely love it. I already have a backup!

Review: Erno Lazlo MULTI-pHASE Blusher

Hey girls! Another last review before bedtime and I have a surprise coming up for y’all tomorrow. I’ll be reviewing the Erno Lazlo MULTI-pHASE Blusher. It retails for $38 from their website and as always their link will be in the side bar. It’s a mosaic powder blush and when you mix all shades together, you get pinkish purple with hints of mauve in it. It has some shimmers, but for the most part is matte. Keep reading to see my review on it!

Pro(s):
-Its smooth and finely milled.
-The color is very buildable and suitable for all skin tones.
-I didn’t notice any fading after 5 hours of wear.
-Nice black compact with mirror and they don’t test on animals.

Con(s):
-A bit on the pricey side.

Overall review: If you’re used to Chanel and Dior then this brand is for you. It’s around that price range and the powders are very silky, smooth and just very luxe feeling. I would say that the packaging is generic, but the product itself feels like you’re holding a Vera Moore Powder. The thing I liked about it is that any skin tone can use it. When you first look at the powder, you might say that darker skin tones will not be able to use it since it won’t show up, but the color is buildable. If you can afford a $38 blush, I think that this is the best thing to invest in since it’s amazing. For me the price is a con, but someone used to Chanel won’t mind the price. Thanks to Julia for the request and I hope all of you. I’m actually doing another review so I’m not doing for the night yet!

Rating: 9.5/10

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, if you can afford being set back $38 then go for
it!

Review: Erno Lazlo MULTI-pHASE Bronzer

Don’t any of you ever think why I don’t review any bronzers? This review might tell you why! Well, let’s get started. Today I’m reviewing the Erno Lazlo cosmetics MULTI-Phase Bronzer. This bronzer is made for all skin types and is universal. That’s why it looks like a mosaic pattern since you can swirl all the shades together to get the perfect shade of bronzer. You can find it online at ernolazlo.com for $38. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-Universal for all skin types and doesn’t clog pores.
-Doesn’t look muddy on fair tones and doesn’t darken already dark tones.
-Decent amount of shimmer that doesn’t make you look like a disco ball.
-Last about 3 hours and has buildable color.

Con(s):
-Emphasizes my pores (makes my pores look HUGE)!

Overall review: So, let me end off my telling you a story. About a month ago, I wore this bronzer when I went out with the boyfriend for a cup of coffee and he’s never rude but that day he said “Babe your pores look huge, no offense”. I stomped out of there faster than you can say Di-hydrogen monoxide. I went home (a block away) and looked in my mirror. He wasn’t joking. They were so accentuated and then I couldn’t believe I was walking around campus with my huge pores. In short, wear a primer with this product or you’ll look hideous. Overall I do like it thought, it has the perfect amount of shimmer even good for a work day and it stays on pretty long. Nonetheless, I hope all of you enjoyed this product review!

Rating: 8/10 the pores set this rating back A LOT.

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, but don’t forget your pore perfecting primer or else!
