Hey girls! Today I saw the Twilight parody movie Vampires Suck and I’ve got to say that the Edward in Vampires Suck was hotter than the one in Twilight. He kept my attention during the entire movie other than the actors’ makeup. So, I’ve seen that all of the vampires have this amazing flawless, matte, white skin (but Edward’s under eye concealer was creasing LOL). I am assuming it was airbrush + amazing cosmetics concealer + tons of MAC Studio Fix powder, but now you can get equally matte skin with the Pandora’s Makeup Box Face Powder. This powder comes in a range of shades for $26 (I have shade #5) which won’t seem too expensive if you’re used to buying MAC. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-Its smooth to apply and gives wonderful matte coverage.
-Doesn’t look caked on and doesn’t make me break out.
-The packaging is adorable and great for teens too.
-I get about 8 hour wear before all the powder is worn out and my skin is oily again.
Con(s):
-It doesn’t keep you matte all day (touch-up necessary).
Overall review: Up till 2 weeks ago, I relied on my MAC Studio Fix Powder. Now I rely on my Pandora’s Makeup Box Powder. It works great for dry or oily skin, but dry skin will stay matte longer than oily skin. I think it’s greatly pigmented. Now normally, for face product I don’t venture out of my normal MAC, Hourglass, or Senna, but since this hasn’t made me break out and has done wonders on my skin, I would go ahead and purchase it again. I absolutely love the packaging and the fact that you can take the pan out and put it in your UNII or Z-Palette is great. If you're a sucker for packaging and quality, this is for you. Thanks to Alyssa for requesting this review and thanks for reading!

Review: NYX Matte Smokey Look One Night in Morocco
Hey girls! There are so many new products being released for summer and fall and I’m getting really excited on reviewing everything, but let’s do this one step at a time. Today’s review will be on the newly released NYX Matte Smokey Look One Night in Morocco Palette. It features 8 eye shadows, an eye shadow base, and four sheer lip glosses. It retails for $15 on their website and Cherry Culture as well as Ulta stores and various other places that carry NYX Cosmetics. Now, let’s get on with the review!
Pro(s):
-The shadow base helps the shadows stay on for about 5 hours when I used it.
-The shadows are greatly pigmented, smooth, and you get little to not fallout when using them. The base helps them stick on.
-The lip colors are very sheer and nice if used on top of a lipstick. They can be used on their own since they’re meant to be sheer.
Con(s):
-Since the powders are with the shadow base, the base will get discolored and powdery.
-The pull out lip gloss palette seems childish.
Overall review: I overall really like the idea of this amazing palette. You get four smoky colors and four neutral shades that you can use to do a smoky brown neutral look. Since all of the shades are matte, they’re very pigmented and the formula is so smooth and buttery/velvety so you don’t get much fallout if any. The only thing was that the lip glosses look super pigmented in the palette, but they actually turn out to be really sheer. I think that this is a great palette for people on a budget or people who love makeup all together. I think that all high-end and low-end buyers will be attracted to this palette. I hope everyone enjoyed and more reviews will be coming soon!

Review: NEW Miracle Skin Transformer SPF 20
Hey girls! Today I’m about to introduce to you the NEW Miracle Skin Transformer SPF 20. This product will not launch until August, but I got an early preview for you. These Miracle Skin Transformers will retail for $48 for 50mL. They will have a clear shade, light, medium, and tan which will be for dark skin tones. The clear shade can be used as a primer. It claims to hydrate the skin, enhance the tone and protect with the UVA/UVB SPF 20. Before their launch, all throughout July, they are offering a free 5g sample tube of their product so go and grab one before the product launches, but they only have the shades medium and tan available. The link to their site will be in the side bar. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!
Pro(s):
-Doesn’t have a scent and keep the skin hydrated feeling.
-Feels very velvety in texture which causes it to glide on easily and blend easily.
-Provides a matte finish with some sheen, but nothing oily looking.
-The coverage is buildable without looking cakey and since it has natural silicones in it, it won’t break you out and it will fill in fine lines.
-It's partly waterproof and has SPF 20.
Con(s):
-Doesn’t provide full coverage, but it isn’t meant to. Your coverage will be light to medium.
Overall review: I really like this product since it works great as an everyday foundation. It’s light and has buildable coverage so you can use it every day to prime your face. I found that it’s very sheer and will even your skin tone out so if you have a lot of blemishes, you will need extra coverage, but for priming its good. For me, I really don’t have many blemishes, just dark circles so I just use and under eye concealer and I’m good to go in the morning. This is sort of waterproof because I was sweating a lot when I went to an amusement park, but it didn’t melt off of my face. It's a lot like an American Blemish Balm Cream. I hope all of you enjoyed the review and don’t forget to visit their site to get a free sample. Enjoy!
