Review: Olivella Daily Facial Cleasning Tissues

Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Olivella Daily Facial Cleansing Tissues. Basically they’re wipes to clean your face. You get 30 sheets for $7.50. You can buy them at olivellausa.com. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-Cleanses, tones, and moisturizes the face really well!
-Doesn’t leave skin feeling tight.
-The ingredients in the wipes have anti-ageing properties since there is olive oil in them.

Con(s):
-None found while the testing of this product was conducted!

Overall review: You would normally use these for makeup removing because that’s what people use facial cleansing wipes for, but you really won’t be able to remove any makeup with this stuff. It’s just for those mornings or nights when you don’t have any makeup on, but you’re too lazy to wash, tone, and moisturize your face. This one sheet does all of that for you. I used it a couple of morning when I woke up a bit late on purpose so I could test these out. I ran the wipe all over my face and neck and then I rinse my face with water. I felt refreshed and I didn’t use a moisturizer that day and I’ve got to tell you that my makeup felt better on my face without silicone and moisturizer on it. I hope all of you enjoy my review on this product!

Rating: 10/10 :)

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Of course, but strictly for cleansing the face!

Review: Marie Louise Clear Cleansing Gel

Hey girls! So, my finals are almost over so we don’t get any homework which means that I can focus more on the blog for the entire summer until I start residency. Today I’ll be reviewing the Marie Louise Cleansing Clear Gel. This product retails for $39 currently since it’s on discount for 31% off, but originally its $57.

Pro(s):
-Removes all makeup including waterproof and MAC Liquid last liner.
-Conditions the skin and leaves skin feeling clean.
-Thick consistency which thins out after rubbing in.

Con(s):
-When used on eyes, after rinsing, your vision is cloudy for a minute or two.

Overall review: I overall really love this product. Whenever I have super heavy makeup on, I used this and it gets rid of all of your makeup less than 5 minutes. It reminds me a lot of a thick gel cleansing oil because when you rub it into your skin, it thins out into a cleansing oil like MAC’s or NARS’ cleansing oils’ consistencies. I used it on my eyes too and it gets rid of stubborn makeup, especially MAC Liquid last liner which most of you might know takes forever to remove. It’s my Holy Grail makeup remover and you only need a little bit for your entire face. Thanks to Jessica for requesting this review and I thanks all of you for subbing and reading!

Rating: 9/10

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, but a hefty price tag!

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Hey girls! Today I’ll be reviewing the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. The 3.3 oz. size that I own retails for $24.50 and comes with 2 muslin cloths. This is the starter kit that I have with a pump. You can purchase it online at lizearle.com. They have a site for the US and UK as well as Canada. Keep reading for more information!

Pro(s):
-Great makeup remover removes even waterproof mascara and removes full face makeup.
-Gently exfoliates and cleanses.
-Doesn’t leave my skin dry.
-The cleanser has a pump.

Con(s):
-None found during the testing of this product.

Overall review: I just love this cleanser. It like a thick cream that you massage all over your face and then take a damp, warm muslin cloth (provided in the kit) to remove the cleanser and your makeup comes off too. It’s very easy to use since it removes all the dirt, grime, and makeup. I can go to sleep peacefully everyday. I think that for the price and quantity, this is a great deal. You only need a pump to put all over your face (including eyes) and all of your makeup is removed. The cocoa butter in it moisturizes and is good for all types of skin. It made naturally and they don’t test on animals. I hope all of you enjoyed including Janice F. who requested it. Thanks a lot!

Rating: 10/10 :)

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, I love this for everyday use!

Small Mall Haul!

Hi girls, so today I went to the mall and picked up a few items. I was mainly exploring MAC today because nothing really caught my eye. I checked out the Colour Forecast collection (finally) and I felt that everything was just poorly pigmented. I also checked out the Riveting collection and this collection is the exactly the opposite. I actually swatched the blush and it was like crazy pigmented. I was also looking at the tiny pigment jars. I won’t purchase pigments anymore although I have all of them. Only if they come out with more pigments in other colors I might get it. I checked out this store and they had the OPI Hong Kong Collection as well as OPI Alice in Wonderland. It got be excessively excited and I was tempted but I only has $12 on me. I did some damage at Bath and Body Work. Actually, if you call $2.50 damage then well you’re cheap. I also purchased some 99 cent products at a store called Lot-Less. That’s where I got the blush/bronzer duo that looks like Nars Orgasm/Laguna. Well, here are some pics of what I got. I ran into a couple of friends from middle school, but I didn’t say hi or anything. It was kind of rude, but that’s me! Enjoy!

Review: Lancôme Galatée Confort Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser

Hi girls, today I’m reviewing my mom’s holy grail cleanser. It’s the Lancôme Galatée Confort Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser. It retails for $30 at some retailers and $47 at others, but either way, it’s definitely a very high end product. Keep reading for my review.

Pros: One pump gets your entire face done. It removes eye makeup and lip stains and such very effortlessly. Since its oil based (like many other Lancôme makeup removers), it’s easier to remove waterproof makeup too.

Cons: No cons!

Overall review: In my opinion, it definitely a band for your buck because if you just use it to remove your makeup, you just need one pump and you’re done. It will definitely last you a long while. One bottle has lasted my mother and I a year and half. It’s definitely a good deal.

Would I purchase it again? : Actually, my mom has purchased this and I share with her and this is her 2nd or 3rd bottle of this stuff.

Rating: 10/10

Packaging: 10/10 Very convenient in a pump.

Is it VICKY approved? : Yes, definitely, buy this if you want conditioned lashes after you remove your makeup and softer skin.

Review: Lanôme Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover

Hi girls, are you one of those people who have trouble removing MAC’s Liquid Liner? Do you feel that you tug on your lids too much? Well, today I’m reviewing a product that will help to remove your eye makeup much faster. It’s called the Lancôme Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover. The word facil means easy in French (don’t worry, I took French in Junior high school) and that’s what it does. It makes removing eye makeup easier. Its oil based so it can also be used to remove paint pots because in my experiences, paint pots don’t come off easily with just soap and water. I retails for $26 basically anywhere there is a Lancôme store or counter. Keep reading for my review.

Pros: It makes makeup removing 10x easier since its oil based. It breaks down any of the strong agents in long wearing makeup effortlessly. I actually use it on my lips and cheeks too when I wear a lip stain like Benefit’s posie tint. It’s easier to remove MAC‘s liquid liner because it doesn’t come off as easy as you would think. I also use this with my stubborn mascaras. It’s my most favorite product by Lancôme as well as their cleanser (review coming soon).

Cons: Its doesn’t have a pump or anything so you have to dip a cu-tip or a cotton ball in it which isn’t that sanitary. That’s why I stick to MAC wipes when doing makeup on others.

Overall review: I like how its oil based and it makes everything much easier for me. I still remember once when I ran out of it and MAC’s liquid liner wouldn’t come off, I got so frustrated that I got into the shower and poured a lot of baby oil into my hand and rubbed it into my eye and then my eye burned for like 2 hours. Hint: Never use baby oil to remove makeup! This is my holy grail makeup remover and I wouldn’t trade it in for anything.

Would I purchase it again? : Of course, it definitely a bang for your buck.

Rating: 10/10

Packaging: 8.5/10

Is it VICKY approved? : Yes; if you’re a makeup lover and you are in search of a good makeup remover, this should be it!

*Disclosure: This product was given to my mother as a sample for spending over a certain amount of money in the Lancôme store. I received no compensation for this review. I have no affiliation with any companies mentioned. All opinions are 100% honest.
