Review: Maybelline Lash Stiletto

Hi girls, I apologize for not being able to put up any posts. I just had so many clients coming to me. Today I’m reviewing Maybelline Lash Stiletto. This ranges anywhere from $5-$8 as far as I’ve seen. I have it in the shade Brownish Black. Keep reading to know more.

Pros: It volumizes and lengthens my lashes. It makes my lashes look naturally long and thick without the dramatic look.

Cons: It smells weird and the formula seems too watery. It gets on my lids every time I try it so you might want to use the business card trick.

Overall review: I really like it overall, but it smells weird and gets on my lids when I try to put it on. You have to use the business card trick.

Would I purchase it again? : Yes, if I ever finish one!

Rating: 8.5/10

Packaging (wand): 9/10

Is it VICKY approved? : Definitely!

Review: Maybelline Color Stiletto Accentuating Cream Eyeshadow

Hi girls, I apologize for not being able to put up any posts. I just had so many clients coming to me. Over the Christmas break, many companies sent me different things, so I will be reviewing them over the weekend which is today and tomorrow. I’m reviewing the Maybelline Color Stiletto Accentuating Cream Eye shadow. This is a lot like a MAC shade stick except much more affordable. The shade I have is in starlet sable which is a dark brown. Keep reading for more information.

Pros: This is very creamy and doesn’t pull on your eyelid like a MAC Shade sticks would. You don’t have to warm it up. You have could also wear it on its own. I especially like it because it’s a great dupe for the MAC Shade sticks that are currently only available in limited edition collections. I don’t know if it’s me, but I felt a cooling effect when I put it on. This would be good for de puffing your eyelids in the morning.

Cons: No cons!

Overall review: I love this product. The stick provided a great base for any smoky brown eye. I used it and it didn’t come off until I used my oil based makeup remover. I also used it as a liner for my neutral looks. The boutique that sent it to me is called Brigette’s Boutique and they have limited edition and also current products on their website by numerous companies at very affordable prices. I believe that this comes in a duo with their Lash Stiletto Mascara for about $7 on their website which is pretty affordable. She sent me some extra stuff to giveaway which will happen for Easter. I really like this boutique and I plan on purchasing more products. I know a few of you wanted me to recommend a good online boutique. I hope you enjoy and purchase the products you wanted.

Would I purchase it again: Yes, definitely. If I didn’t have this sent to me and I bought it on my own, would have bought this again.

Rating: 10/10

Packaging: 10/10 A lot like the MAC Shade stick except more affordable.

Is it VICKY approved? : This is definitely approved by me for the perfect neutral eye as well as a smoky brown look!

Review: Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Pink Please

Hi girls, so about a week ago, I went to Rite Aid and they had the instant rebate coupons on the Maybelline Color Sensational lip products which included the lip glosses, lip liners, and the lipstick which I am reviewing today. The shade is called Pink Please and it’s a true pink. I would consider this the perfect pink because it’s not peachy nor is it bluish based. It’s just the perfect shade. The pictures above don’t do justice, you just have to go and see it in store, but again with the price. It ranges anywhere from $6.99 to $7.50. I got mine for $3.00 because the deal made the lipstick $5.99 and then with the coupon you got $2.99 off so its $3.00. I would compare it to a cream sheen formula from MAC in every way. Keep reading to know more.

Pros: It’s very creamy and pigmented. The color you get in the tube is the color that will appear on your lips. It doesn’t wear off easily, I have to use an oil based makeup remover or else it stays on. It smoothes out your lips so the lines on your lips don’t appear and you have perfect looking lips. The packaging is super pretty. I love it!

Cons: It tastes weird.

Overall review: I really love this lipstick. I bought an extra one for using on my clients because I love it so much. It’s exactly like a M.A.C cream sheen lipstick in pigmentation and every other possible way you can think of for a fraction of the price. These seem like they are on clearance or something that’s why they are so inexpensive. Go to Rite Aid and get in on this awesome deal!

Rating: 9.5/10

Packaging: 10/10

Disclosure: I purchsed this with my own money. I am not affiliated with any of the companies mentioned nor am I being paid for this post. This is my 100% honest opinion.

Review: Maybelline Expertwear Eyshadow Trio in Impeccable Grays

I bought this trio from Rite Aid for $5.29 4 months ago and I decided to review it becuase of the quality.

Pros: Very shimmery, perfect for a night out (black smokey eye), non-creasing, and wonderful color combinations. Good for a light smokey eye, nothing too dramatic.

Cons: You have to use a good primer in order to help this from creasing. The colors fade away quickly; even with UDPP. They aren't vibrant no matter which primer you use. You have to layer on the shadows becuase they aren't that pigmented. The sponge tip applicator does no good so buy some professional brushes before buying this trio. Good for a light smokey eye, nothing too dramatic.

Overall review: I would use this a lot, but it doesn't last as long as normal people would want it to. The colors are very shimmery and not appropriate for a girl's special occassion such as a graduation late at night. I really like it, but Maybelline should come up with more pigmented colors. I just like that its very sleek and fits in your pocket for on the go.

Packaging: 9.5/10

Enjoy, please request other reviews, thanks!
