Review: Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow

Hey girls! As all of you know, Vicky loves her neutrals. So today I have another neutral eye shadow to review for you. It’s called the Illamasqua Bronx Eye shadow. The shade can be described as a medium brown shade with gold shimmers. It retails for £15.00. It’s one of Illamasqua’s talked about products since the brand’s launch because it’s so awesome. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!


Pro(s):
-It’s very easy to blend other shadows into this shadow.
-It lasts about 8 hours until it’s completely faded away.
-It hasn’t creased on me and somewhat smells like milk chocolate.
-There’s little to no fallout and they’re greatly pigmented.


Con(s):

Overall review: At first when I smelled this eye shadow, I thought I was going crazy because it smells like milk chocolate. I absolutely love this product and I will purchase more shadows in the future. It’s a great all over lid color for people who are about MAC NC35. I can’t say enough about this product. You would just have to get it yourself and try it out. I couldn’t get the best swatch out of it because I didn’t want to use that shadow up too much LOL! Review: Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Ruthless

Hey girls! Lately I’ve ventured into different nail polishes other than my normal OPIs and China Glazes. So, today I’ll review another company which is called Illamasqua. I’ve recently fallen in love with their nail varnishes. They retail for 13 Euros which is about $15 and they can be purchased conveniently on Sephora’s site and select Sephora stores. The shade I have is in ruthless which is an orange toned red in a crème formula. Keep reading to see why I love this polish to death!


Pro(s):
-It’s very smooth to apply and applies evenly.
-After five days on wear, only the tip was a bit chipped.
-The formula isn’t too thin or thick and it dries really fast.
-Its opaque in 2 coats, but for the swatches I used only 1 coat.

Overall review: I absolutely love this product. Everything about it is awesome form it’s formula, to its payoff. It dries really fast which is my main pet peeve. I stress using nail polishes when they’re thick and goop and take a million years to dry. It stains my nail which isn’t really that bad because you just have to run the cotton pad over your nail twice. I think it’s great for all skin tones, but then again I suggest trying it on in store or something. I hope all of you enjoyed and thanks to Jin for requesting this review!

Review: Illamasqua Lipgloss in Divine

Hey girls! So, Illamasqua launched its beauty brand about a year ago and since then, I’ve been hearing many good things about the brand. So, I decided to try out their sheer lipgloss. It comes in a slim squeezy tube with a slanted lip applicator. The shade I have is in divine which is described as a deep fuchsia pink, but it looks more like a fuchsia hot pink in the tube. It retails for 12.50 Euros which is about $14 or $15. You can get it at select Sephora stores and on the Sephora website. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!


Pro(s):
-It’s very moisturizing and lasts for 3 hours on me.
-It’s a very wearable shade.
-It’s fairly pigmented thoughts called sheer.


Con(s):
-Some people might hate the stickiness, but it doesn’t bother me much.


Overall review: After hearing so many good things about Illamasqua, I’ve got to say that their sheer lipgloss has wowed me. I really liked the pigmentation and wear time. Even if it’s supposed to be sheer, you get a nice pink tinge on your lips. I like that its super glossy and a flat color with no shimmer. I’m not much of a fan of shimmer and glitter. I think that’s the main reason I love Illamasqua a lot. I think that girls who want full day wear of this lipgloss with minimal touch ups should get in on this product. It also smells like watermelon and doesn't taste like anything which is good. Thanks to Hannah for requesting this review and I hope all of you enjoy my reviews!
