Review: Senna Daily Defense Antioxidant Moisturizer SPF 15

Hey girls! So in the summer, to keep your skin from aging, you always should use SPF, but I know all of us hate the oiliness of sun block. That’s why you should use a moisturizer with built in SPF. Today, I will be reviewing the Senna Daily Defense Antioxidant Moisturizer SPF 15. Now, generally Senna is known for their amazing line of cosmetic product, but I didn’t hesitate to use their skincare products because Senna is a high quality brand. Its retails for $22 and you get 2 oz. of product. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-Great SPF protection.
-Not oily or greasy.
-Lightweight and contains vitamin c, green tea, and aloe.
-Thick in consistency, but absorbs quickly and sheers out as you apply.
-Has a pump which is very controllable and doesn’t leave a white tint like other sun blocks do.

Con(s):
-A bit pricey for $22 since the bottle is tinier than expected.

Overall review: As all of you can see, this has tons of pros, because I just think it’s absolutely amazing. It definitely softened my face because it has aloe and jojoba. It doesn’t have a scent which is good and it doesn’t leave a greasy feel. It made my face feel like a baby’s bum. I do think that you get little product for $22, but it’s really worth it if you want soft skin with sun protection. I personally think it’s amazing, but for people who are on a budget, you should save up for this. Also, it’s best for normal to oily skin so I don’t think girls with dry skin should venture out to this. Thanks to Nicky for requesting this review and I hope everyone else enjoyed!

Rating: 9/10

Is it recommended by Vicky? : If you’re on a budget, I don’t recommend it.

Review: Peek-A-Boob Strips

Hey girls! Have any of you ever had a blouse that you love to death, but when you wear it, some of your cleavage peeks out? Well, I think I’ve got the product just for you. They’re called the Peek-A-Boob strips. At just $8.89 a pack, they come with 30 strips and a cute pink tin to store them in. They replace your safety pins because they’re safer than safety pins. They won’t ever poke or create a hole in your favorite button down blouse. Basically, it’s a plastic strip (like a piece of tape) that’s double sided so one side adheres to your shirt and the other adheres to wherever you want to secure it to. Keep reading to see my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-Its double sided and adheres very well.
-It won’t come off with the contact of water.
-Its flexible so no matter what the shape of your favorite shirt, it will adhere without a problem.

Con(s):
-None found while the testing of this product was conducted.

Overall review: II absolutely love this product. It’s a lifesaver because I had this plaid top that I love of so very much, but too much cleavage shows when I wear it so I just put one of these strips to zip it up, or more like tape it up. None of my friends or family can tell that I used this strip. It’s good for when you need to cover yourself up more, but there’s no more buttons to cover it up. I think it’s affordable since they’re under $10 and will get you noticed at work for all the RIGHT reasons. A reader of mine asked me what an alternative was for safety pins so here’s my recommendation for an alternative to a safety pin. Thanks for reading!

Rating: 10/10 :)

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yes, of course!

Review: Olivella Hand Cream

Hey girls! So, I don’t think that dry hands are a concern in the summer, but for the upcoming fall season, they’re definitely a concern. Who wants rough, flaky, and ashy hand? I know I don’t. That’s why I have an awesome review for you today on the Olivella Hand Cream. It contains 100% virgin olive oil so it’s great for a moisture boost. It retails for a mere $10.50 on their site. Keep reading for my thoughts on this product!

Pro(s):
-Very moisturizing and since the olive oil has anti-aging properties, it’s great for older people.
-Its hypoallergenic and not tested on animals.
-It’s not too expensive.

Con(s):
-I think some people may not like the scent of olive oil.

Overall review: I think that this is great for older people with aged hands. I had my grandfather use this a couple of times and I’ve got to say that his hands looked better to me at least. Wrinkles are caused by a lack of moisture in the skin and this moisturizer has more than enough moisture without a greasy feeling. Since olive oil has anti-aging properties, it’s great for matured people. I do have to say though that some people might not find the scent rather pleasant. I didn’t have a problem with it since my dad always uses olive oil in his cooking and so do I so I’m used to the smell, but people who aren’t use to it might feel disturbed by it. Well, I hope all of you enjoyed and please email me if you have more requests!

Rating: 9.5/10

Is it recommended by Vicky? : Yup, it’s worth the $10!
